About The Links Incorporated

 

The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of 12,000 professional women of color in 275 chapters located in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. 

 

The members of The Links, Incorporated are influential decision makers and opinion leaders. They are business and civic leaders, educators, role models, mentors, activists and volunteers who work towards a common vision by engaging like-minded organizations and individuals for partnership. They are distinguished and individuals leader achievers and have made a difference in their respective communities and the world.

 

About Huston-Tillotson University

About Austin Community College

 

The Austin Community College District was established in December 1972, by voters of the Austin Independent School District (AISD), as a public two-year institution. It opened in Fall 1973 with 2363 students. The AISD Board of Trustees served as ACC’s Board of Trustees and the College shared the district’s boundaries. Over the years, the College has continued to grow and get its own Board in March 1982. ACC currently serves over 45,000 students with eight full-time facilities. The Austin Community College District is the primary gateway to higher education and training for residents in eight Central Texas counties. ACC is among the fastest-growing community colleges in the country, providing access to valuable programs and services that change lives and benefit communities.
